Blind Bag/Grab Bag/Surprise Bag
Blind Bag ponies are mini ponies that come in an unnamed bag meant to surprise you with which pony you will get when you open it. "Each bag surprises you with a new pony, a collector's card figures and an index of all ponies."
However, collectors have figured out a method to determine which pony is in which bag. A number is stamped on the top edge of each bag or inside the flap on the back of the bag and each pony is always found in it's corresponding numbered bag. The bag numbers can be found below each pony below. The bag numbers vary for each wave.

Pink Canterlot Bags
The first set of blind bags were released in Europe in 2010 and later in the US. They are either regular or transparent/glitter style. A special "pink" glitter Twilight Sparkle was found in the Europe release only and is considered rare.
